I used one of these for my main controller, worked really well. Using a sheet metal holesaw meant I had no issues with chipping etc. Can't speak for its waterproofing as I had it under a makeshift shelter but it worked well for keeping vermin/bugs out etc.
I've found the Hanson Electronics gear to be great for my first year last year. Pretty affordable compared to other options and really accessible with room to expand in the future.
Thanks for the response, I have always just opened the files straight from the show folder on the drive. I have had an instance before where the drive letter had changed. But it was as simple as reselecting the show folder on initial start up on that occasion.

I had a tree with similar specs to that last year, I got away with a larger diameter PVC pipe as the "trunk" of my tree sitting over a tall star picket that was driven into the ground. With some guy lines from the tree topper down, it was solid as a rock.
